What a weekend we had- Fight at The Fortress organized by Columbus Rugby was a great success! The Akron Women’s “Jackalopes” (our Summer 7’s team) played their first tournament and left with a 1-2 record for the day- ultimately playing a team in the competitive bracket, as well.
We are so proud of the work our players continue to put in. Catch us 7/11 at SteelCity 7’s presented by Pittsburgh Forge Rugby.

Our first summer tournament is here- tomorrow we travel to Columbus for Fight at the Fortress.
Games are at 10:00, 11:40 and 1:20 in the Stadium.
We have been working all summer and are locked in and ready to take the pitch.

Ohio came back victorious- taking the Senior Women’s Plate Champion title this past weekend at the 2026 Thunderbird Cup.
Congratulations to our very own:
Ashley Fleck, Wing
Gracie Powell, Prop
Carlyn Laughlin, 8-Man & Lock
Based on this huge result, Ohio will move up to the Cup bracket for the Thunderbird cup next year. Coming into this year’s tournament with a ranking of -7, all of Ohio showed up and showed what these incredible teams are made of.

We had an amazing day today at our 19th annual Prom on the Pitch! We are grateful to our supporters & fans for braving the rain and joining us for an amazing cause.
