Akron Masjid serves the diverse and growing community of Muslims & Non-Muslims in and around Akron.
Akron Masjid began as a majority of African Americans with a few brothers from the Eastern region of the world. Today due to the grace and mercy of the Creator our numbers are growing exponentially and we now serve brothers and sisters from all over the globe. Upon completion of the renovation project we will be able to hold nearly 400 worshipers within our walls.

Eid Al-Fitr will be Friday March 20th. Prayers will be at 8am. Please arrive half an hour early. 1145 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301
Reminder to pay your Zakat Al-Fitr before the Eid prayers. $10/person.
If you missed a fast, then Fidya is $15/day.
Zakat al-fitr is specifically intended for the poor, needy, and vulnerable within the Muslim community.
Fidya is a mandatory religious donation in Islam, paid by individuals who cannot fast during Ramadan—or make up those missed fasts later—due to valid reasons like chronic illness, old age, or pregnancy.
