Hard to believe the Electric Pressure Cooker is coming to an end, with tonight being the final one at Jilly’s Music Room. It’s been a fantastic time seeing and photographing many of their shows. It will be weird for sure.

Another photograph when I was on the top floor in the old Akron City Centre Hotel during the time I was assisting installing the piece ‘Band’ by Ian Brill that was coordinated by Curated Storefront.

It has been an extremely long time since I have posted anything on this page. Was taking a sabbatical from photographing and working on my Graduate degree. I intend on posting more photographs in the foreseeable future.

In December I had the privilege of being on the top floor in the old Akron City Centre Hotel where I was assisting in the installation of the piece ‘Band’ by Ian Brill that was coordinated by Curated Storefront. While there, I recorded a bunch of time lapse footage of the installation process and of course had to photograph the entire cityscape too! This photograph is not from my usual DSLR, but from a GoPro Hero 8. To be honest, I like the results.

It's been a while since I last posted photographs from the EP Cooker or anything in general. I have been massively busy with Graduate School and kept getting delayed with working on the photographs. I hope to finish them all and post them, especially on how the world is currently. Until there, here are the photographs, albeit abridged, from the last EP Cooker in March.

Check out Gum-Dip Theatre Denied Admission play if you have a chance. The play features true stories of asylum seekers who crossed the southern border, examining the boundaries of personal liberty. The play was devised and directed by Katie Beck; staring: Ryan Cash, Bridgett Martinez, Angie Perez, Liz Schmidt, and Neema Tamang. .

Last Wednesday I photographed Wandering Aesthetics’ Full Circle Storytelling: Collected Works, Vol. 4 at Jilly’s Music Room. This was a compilation of past performers throughout the year, receiving the stories they previously told. Displayed is Greg Milo, a teacher and poet.

Little by little I’m making progress on the Friday Night Mics! Alumni Edition photographs from last Friday. There’s still work to be done and a lot more acts to show. Pictured here is Kurt Brown the guitarist, synthesizer performer from Church of Starry Wisdom. They ended the show that night and it was intense!

Talking about the craziest conspiracies, including Pizza Gate and Q Anon; don’t worry he was making fun of them; is Thomas Skala. One of the standup acts of Friday Mic Nights! Alumni Edition who told a hilarious story that never gets old!

Jinger Moore was another comic performing at Friday Mic Nights! Alumni Edition. Like always she nailed it with an awkwardness present on stage with perfect timing!

I have always heard of Toby Danger, but have never seen them perform. That changed on Friday when they performed at Friday Mic Nights at The Outpost and they were amazing to watch. Check them out! Toby Danger
