ArtWalk is this Week! On Thursday, June 11, from 5 tp 9 pm. 🛹

We're shutting down the street for Still Aawful 2: Skate Jam 2 + Block Party.

Curated by exhibiting artist Aaron D. Williams in collaboration with Advocate SkateWorks (), this street takeover brings together skateboarding, music, art, and community. Expect a pop-up skate park, live cipher, performances from local artists, and plenty of opportunities to connect, create, and celebrate.

✨Along the sidewalk, participate in an expressive chalking activity led by Resident Artist Althea Jones.

😋Food will be available from Southern Comfort Food () and 🧊 Heights Tropical Sno () 🍋

While the action unfolds outside, visitors can also step inside to experience Williams' exhibition "Scorporation," along with the rest of our 🍃 2026 Spring Exhibitions on view.

🌇Inside the building, you can find:

⭐🫶🏾StarFall Creative Collective will be hosting an Affirmation Reflection Cards activity on the first floor of the building. .creative.collective

🎨A variety of pop-up artist vendors will be located on the 3rd floor.

🏳️‍🌈 The Bayard Rustin LGBTQ+ Resource Center will be on site with a resource table.

🌈Canapi Akron () and Akron Pride () have a joint resource table where visitors can learn more about their services and support.

📖 Akron-Summit County Public Library will be on-site with a resource table.

🏢Summit Artspace's resident artists will open their studios to the public throughout the evening.

ArtWalk is happening on June 11 from 5 to 9 pm. We're taking over the street for an evening of art, music, skateboarding, and community celebration. ArtWalk is free and open to the public.

Still Aawful 2: Skate Jam + Block Party':
Exhibiting artist Aaron D. Williams (aawfulaaron) is curating a live cipher 🎤 on the loading docks of Summit Artspace along a 🛹pop up skate park in collobration with Advocate Skateworks () outside the building.

☀️Resident Artist Althea Jones will be leading an expressive chalking activity on the sidewalk.

⭐🫶🏾StarFall Creative Collective will be hosting an Affirmation Reflection Cards activity on the first floor of the building.
