The KJ’s 5K for mental health and animal rescues is this Saturday, October 3rd @ Portage Lakes State Park. 5031 Manchester Road in Akron. Race day registration and packet pick up begin at 8:00 a.m. with the 5k walk/run starting at 9 a.m. We've attached the sign up link in the comments.

We will have a table set up and will also have at least one pup participating with a volunteer in the 5k. If you'd like to walk or run it with a dog please let us know. We have created a team people can join when they register. The team name is Rubber City Rescue. Part of the proceeds go to us.

Please help us get this sweet pup home!!! Found near Linden Lane Apt. Cuyahoga Falls.

This sweet girl has been adopted!!! She came in as a stray and left with family!! Thank you all for choosing her!!! We can't wait to see updates!!

We had a blast today and so did the pups & kitties!!! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hi!!! We had more people sign up to volunteer today, thank you!!! We had several people walking pups and getting them outside for awhile, thank you!!! It's always a great day when our pups are well loved by all of you!!!

The pups can't wait to see you all tomorrow!!! We could also still use some true medium harnesses!! A lot of the ones that came in are small/medium.

Sweet Draco found his furever family and joined them yesterday!!! It was love at first sight!!! They have been sending us many updates and this boy is loved!!! Thank you for adopting!!!

Poppi is around 2 years old. He came from a breeder/hoarding case. He was very scared when he first came to us. It takes him a little while to warm up to people he hasn't met. But once he does he'll love you!!

He needs a fenced in yard. This will be a non-negotiable. He would also love another pup friend or two. Other pups help him come out of his shell. He'd prefer a quiter/calm home and someone who will shower him with love and be patient with him as he transitions. If you are interested and can provide what he needs to flourish please message us.
