Ice cream is good but have you ever had Tropical Ice cream!? You taste the islands in every bite. Soursop is a juicy rich and creamy fruit. If you’ve never had it, ask your local West Indian store or Asian market’s manager if they can order one to the store for you. Soursop is in season right now, your local store might have access to them they just probably don’t know that the demand is there for it! This ice cream is so incredible, I need to bring it over to my mom’s house for her to try. She will be proud and obsessed lol 550g Soursop pulp 1/3 cup condensed milk (dairy-free) 1 can high fat coconut milk 1/2 tsp grated nutmeg 1 tsp vanilla extract Blend all of the ingredients together until smooth Pour the mixture into a large mixing bowl and place it in the freezer for 1 hour then remove from the freezer and whip the mixture for 5 minutes using an electric mixer or you can use a whisk. Transfer the mixture to a glass or metal container ( I used the pan I normally use for baking bread). Seal the container with a layer of parchment paper or plastic wrap if that is what y ou have. Press it down onto the cream to avoid air getting in. Then cover with aluminum foil or container lid. Freeze for 24h! Remove from freezer, allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Heat an ice cream scoop under hot water then scoop as much ice cream as you want!
