SWAG In The News! Support not just SWAG but all organizations in the city of Akron that aims to create opportunities for our youth. If change is to be accepted in this community, we must advocate and promote as a community.

'End the violence.' Guns and fatherhood are focus of Akron event - AOL Legacy Weekend, an event in downtown Akron, was aimed at addressing violence and celebrating fathers. It was hosted by Remedy Church.

We are incredibly proud of our Students With A Goal (SWAG) students, staff, and volunteers for making this amazing experience possible. This project was designed to show our youth that their lives matter, that there is a bigger world beyond the confines of Akron, Ohio, and that they are capable of achieving great things.

This opportunity highlighted not only our students’ academic progress, but also their growth as leaders, community members, and young people with limitless potential. It reinforced that their time, effort, and commitment within the SWAG organization truly matters.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our supporters, funders, families, community partners, and everyone who continues to invest in the success of our students. Your belief in our mission makes opportunities like this possible.

While there were moments of challenge and stress along the way, every experience provided valuable lessons and opportunities for growth. We are grateful for the memories made, the knowledge gained, and the bonds strengthened throughout this journey.

Thank you for believing in our youth and helping us create life-changing experiences that inspire purpose, leadership, and excellence.

The future is bright, and we’re already looking forward to the next adventure.
