Trying to learn how to glue realistic looking hair on dozens of lil heads is proving to be less than easy….!!!! !!!!!

Leg Lamps!!!!

So I had a great idea when a department store closed…. I bought display legs then I turned them into “Tiki Leg Lamps”
That inspiration turned into my shaping and burning wood caps n bases, wiring up the lamp, and then custom making 18” barrel lampshades with fabric glued to polystyrene and attached to lamp rings… in the end it actually cost me a lot to make these. I’ve displayed them at multiple shows and never sold one.

This Spring/Summer is all about catching up on some commissions and making something that should be pretty cool for a sweet gallery show this fall….

Friday the 13th! Gonna have a table set up in honor of some dear friends new venture an amazing arts and vintage shop (and yes, they have tiki!)
Atomic Rodeo Art and Vintage will be hosting a Kick-off Party for the Barberton Art and Music Festival
The Kahuna Kings will be playing at 6 so be sure to stop by at 4 to check out the Fez Monkey table and say "hi"!

Spotted a couple Fez Monkeys while checkin’ out the entry mural at this last week!! Had the chance to drop in and show the place to a couple friends and of course they loved it!!
