FREE ADMISSION TO ALL SC STATE PARKS - Friday, November 28, 2025!

This year on Black Friday, we challenge you and yours to and enjoy South Carolina's state parks.

Admission will be free at state parks in South Carolina on Friday, November 28 -- including tours at our three historic homes. The promotion encourages people to spend some time in the great outdoors the day after Thanksgiving!

Tour capacity is limited. Reservations can be made online for historic home tours starting Monday, November 10, at 9am:

Rose Hill Plantation at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m
Redcliffe Plantation at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Hampton Plantation at noon and 2 p.m.

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, Navy, and Marine Corps — the first three branches of our military. From the earliest days of our democracy to today, brave men and women have served to protect our freedom and uphold the Constitution.

As we celebrate Veterans Day, we honor all who have worn the uniform and the families who’ve stood beside them. To all veterans, thank you for your service!
