Some numbers:
Governor's election March '23 will have the recreational vote on the ballot. This bill will impose a 15% tax on recreational sales.

Federal HR3617 - passed by house (democrats), pending discussion at senate (50/50, but may soon be republican controlled). This comes with a 5% tax.

Medical ma*****na in Oklahoma - 7%

Break-even purchasing amount:
Increased tax for rec use: (20 - 7 = 13%)
Cost of a medical card: $109 (insured)

$109 / 0.13 = $838 / year or $16/week

If you spend more than $16/week on product and the State of Oklahoma and the fed go recreational, you'll still want to get your medical card to save money.
