Midwest Shearing

Peaches is always the first to greet the newbies. Bobby is guarding the girls, the girls are curious as to the newcomer.

I think I might have a problem.... But look at that side profile.. isn't he a cuuutteee pie. He is a bit skinny right now, but we will get him to put on some weight.

Yesterday we Sheared a few Llamas and an Alpaca Orrick Acres Rescue while there we saw these cuties. So go check them out.

The supervisor kept showing up at the job site, two days in a row. This time she was ensuring we were putting her friends down properly and gently, getting the restraints on in the right spots, and making sure the shearer was making taking that blanket off with as little second cuts as possible. She approved.

The supervisor was on the job onsite at this farm the whole time, and all up in our personal space too.

Jenny adjusted effortlessly to her new environment with our male alpaca Bobby and male llama Peaches. We plan to collect two female alpacas next week, ensuring Jenny's social needs are met. She's soo tiny.

Everyone this is Peaches! This is my father's day present.😁 A very very sweet male llama . He's about a year old, so not quite big enough yet. He loves attention. He'll come right to you whenever you enter the pen.

Ungraded and ready for shearing. Today we just finished our first route and she did great with her upgrades. Ready for the rest of the season and what ever comes out way.
