Wapello County Diesel

Well, I said big things were coming. I didn’t lie, but this isn’t exactly the update that I was planning. Everyone that knows us, knows the past couple years have been rough. We weathered it all thanks to great customers and unwavering support from family. I can’t think everyone enough. Especially Ashley. But I feel the right thing to do for my family is to have more stability in our life. So as of yesterday I officially accepted a position at IHCC. I’m not going to completely shut the business down. I will have a 4 day work week so that will leave time for continuing it as a side job. I will though be selling the service truck and eventually the shop. So don’t hesitate to reach out, I will still be available. Just not full time. Again, I can’t think everyone enough. All of my customers, Ashley, Mom keeping an eye on things from above, Dad, Justin, Jarod and even Georgia. All of my great friends that never hesitated to throw my name out there and give me the recommendations and brought me work even when they could’ve went somewhere else. I appreciate every last one of you!

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Got a call for an excavator that had lost all functions. Went over a few quick things with the customer and decided that he has lost pilot pressure at a minimum. Went out to have a look and found the coupler between the engine and the pump and come completely apart. New coupler installed and some cleaning. He’s back up and running!

Ashley, Georgia and I would like to take a minute to say Happy New Year! Thank you to each and every customer, friend and family member that has helped keep this adventure rolling! It was definitely a crazy year for us but we made the best of it. Thank you all for all of your love and support. We hope everyone has a healthy, happy and successful 2025!

We will be closed on Christmas Day to enjoy time with our family! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! 🎄
