🍓 ARE YOU BERRY EXCITED FOR FRESH, LOCAL STRAWBERRIES?! 🍓

🌞 We will be OPEN for pick your own strawberries (weather permitting or until picked out):

Thursday, June 11: 7am-11am
Friday, June 12: 7am-1pm

🧺 It will be light picking as the berries are just starting to ripen at the beginning of the season, so check back regularly for upcoming hours and picking conditions!

🌱 This year's first picking is a little different than in years past...

🚜 We carefully plan our crop rotations each year to produce the high-quality fruit you've come to expect from our farm. One of our older fields was scheduled to be rotated out this spring, but it ended up being the furthest along and producing such delicious berries that we just couldn't let them go to waste!

🍓 So, we'd love for you to come experience our "au-natural" berry field. The rows are a little less defined and the straw between them is a bit thinner than usual, but don't let that fool you—the berries are beautiful medium-sized berries, red all the way through, and packed with the sweetness and juiciness you expect from our patch. We've been sampling them all week and wow...they are delicious!

🌿 While this first field may be a little rougher around the edges than we're used to, our upcoming fields are looking fantastic and should be ready shortly! We did experience a freeze during bloom, so berry size may be a bit smaller this season, but the crop looks great and the quality and flavor are outstanding.

🍓 Our Berry Barn will be serving up our delicious strawberry shakes, waffles, smoothies and more!

🐐 Our petting farm animals have been watching all the action in the fields while we've been getting ready for the season and are excited to welcome visitors again!

'Tis the season.... for egg-laying. Painted Turtles typically lay their eggs from late spring to early summer. The mother will seek out the perfect spot with plenty of sunshine and loose soil. With a little luck, this clutch of turtle eggs will hatch in late summer/ early fall. From there, the babies will either make a mad dash for the water or overwinter in their nests. Keep your fingers crossed for a safe hatching!
