Happy Ostara (Spring equinox) everyone. I decided this year that we were going to make today a huge celebration in our home. We spent the day potting new plants, building a green house and garden beds, as well as decorating eggs. The kids are so excited that spring is here and the weather has been so amazing. Bring on the sunshine and growing seasons!
Peep the little love my amazing husband brought home for our Freyja. She has been begging for baby chicks, so daddy made it happen the best we could.

Here in southern Iowa we had mid 70s. Bring on the season of skinned knees, dirty popsicle faces and bubbles! There is nothing more fun to me than capturing them being innocent explores.

Today’s comes courtesy of my handsome boy. Seeing him wear one of my most prized possessions as a child. My Tony Gonzalez jersey. I wore this thing constantly as a kid and was so proud to be like my big brother.

I absolutely am obsessed with this plant. The new leaves grow in bright green and deepen to almost black as they mature. It’s so cool to watch.

Another princess the kids decided she needed to be the princess. There was a coronation and everything 🤣

Today's comes from my chunky man nephew Emmett. He and his brother light my auntie heart on fire and I just love showing them off. Emmett is just the happiest baby and loves coming to visit and see all the kids. I couldn't help but snag some photos of him when he was here visiting yesterday.

I do have to say that this makes my heart flutter a bit every time I see it.
