This Sunday we'll start a 5-week series on prayer in the book of Acts called Praying with the Early Church. We'll find encouragement to be devoted to prayer as we see the church's example from Acts 1-2.

We also want to wish all the dads and granddads a Happy Father's Day! We'll have a special gift for all the men in attendance.

It was an awesome week at VBS. Thanks for sharing your kiddos with us, we had a great time! Hopefully they learned a lot about Psalm 23 and Jesus as the Good Shepherd.

We had 49 different kids participate and averaged 42 each day. These guys and gals brought quarters for an offering to help feed those in need. One quarter = one meal. They donated over 700 meals!

And a big THANK YOU! to all our dedicated workers.

We learned how God is with us though the deep, dark valleys! (Which was fitting as the wind knocked out the power for about an hour...)
