Happy Mother's Day! We had a great Mom's and Muffins event on Friday! 💜🌸💐

The preschool classroom took a field trip before Easter to the Friendship Place!! 😊 They had an egg hunt, crafts, snacks and goodie bags for the kiddos! The children had a blast and were angels! The residents seemed to enjoy the company. Thank you to Shyana for hosting us and setting everything up! 💛

The B Hive had spring pictures taken in March! They all turned out great! We used Shannon's Preschool Portraits this time and we loved her! She was fantastic with the kids and she actually edits the photos herself before sending them to families. We definitely recommend her! 🥰💛

Meet Ms. Daisy, our school age teacher! She has worked for The B Hive for almost 1 year! She also works in the other classrooms while school age kiddos are in school. She has planned fun crafts/activities with the school age kiddos during school breaks and she's preparing for the summer! She is continuing her educational trainings. She enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with her grandparents in her spare time. She has been a great addition to The B Hive and the kiddos love her! 🐝💛

Meet Mrs. Tara! She is one of our amazing infant/toddler teachers! She has worked for The B Hive for nearly 6 years! You could say that Mrs. Tara has been a jack of all trades while working at The B Hive. She has planned and decorated for our many events/parties in the past as well as being a supervisor in her past role. She currently is continuing her educational trainings to become a lead teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, crafting and camping. We have been extremely lucky to have her on our team! 🐝💛

The B Hive is hiring! 🐝 We are looking for individuals who love working with children and are ready to be a part of our little one’s developmental growth. We are hiring for lead and assistant teachers. We would love for the ideal candidate to have at least 6 months of working experience in a child care setting. Trainings and CPR/First Aid would be preferred but can be obtained after being hired in. We are currently enrolled in The Wage Initiative program that offers employees an extra $200/month for part time and $300/month for full time (through Sept. 2027). We offer employee tuition discount for your children (if enrolled with us)!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Must be able to move freely from sitting to standing position and be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Be able to make split second decisions when needed
• Be creative in managing children’s behavior
• Be able to communicate well with children, staff members and parents
• Be able to make weekly lesson plans for the classroom
• Have time management skills and be able to stay on a schedule as kids need routine
• Manage classroom cleanliness
• Maintain all State of Michigan Licensing Rules at all times
• Be able to complete a background check along with fingerprints
• Be able to complete trainings and CPR/First Aid

*Pay is based on experience
