5th grade had a great time at Union Station! Even the teachers had some fun!

This week in science we dissected owl pellets to identify what animals they eat. It was a fun way to wrap up how energy is transferred from one organism to another through a food chain.

5th graders had a blast at their fall parties today.

5th graders attended a fire safety presentation held by our local fire department on Friday.

5th graders took a nature walk around the school today to observe and list living and nonliving things in their science notebooks.

Fifth graders rotated through different centers in ELA today. They read and discussed poems in their MyView books, watched a Brainpop video about Christopher Columbus, read nonfiction library books about Columbus, and practiced fluency by reading poems for fun.
