It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the closing of the shop.

As many of you know we brought our daughter into this world 2 months prematurely, which drastically changed the plans we had set into place for re-opening the shop after maternity leave.

Many factors were taken into consideration while making this hard decision, but ultimately stepping back right now is what’s best for our family. While making art has always been my passion, being a mother is my first priority.

I want to thank everyone for supporting my dream and making it a reality, even for a short while. Because of you, Bloom With Grace was put on the map & even received “Best New Business” for the 2022 Best of Lenawee awards. For that I will always be grateful.

Although the shop itself is closing, this isn’t goodbye for Bloom With Grace, as I will still be taking commissions for both paintings & murals- just at a more limited availability.

I will continue to use this page to share my art, take commissions, and update you all on this new chapter in my life.

How It Works:
Trees will be hung with care down the halls of The Gallery of Shops, across from Croswell Opera House Downtown Adrian. All you have to do is show up with your holiday spirit & decorate your tree with your family, friends or coworkers. Decorating will start Friday, November 18, 2022. Please use unbreakable decorations.

As many of you know I’ve been taking an extensive maternity leave due to our preemie girl. Just wanted to let everyone know I will be in the shop Wednesday working on the mural in the hallway in the gallery, but will have the shop open temporarily that day! 💓

We WILL be open tomorrow for Artalicious Fine Arts Fair 11-7! 🎨

We will not be open for first Fridays, as we are still in the nicu with our baby girl. We are talking about the possibility of being open for artalicous- so we will give an update on that in the next week.

We’ve been off the grid for the last week & some change because per my last post, little miss Rory Grace came that same night! She was born at 31 weeks which requires a stay in the NICU to master how to eat & grow before we can head home. Other than that she is doing incredible for being born 9 weeks early.

With that being said, the shop is currently closed for at least the next 3 weeks-month. I am spending every waking second with my daughter & living at the Ronald McDonald house in Toledo until she is ready to come home. After that we will update what the shop will look like during my maternity leave.

I am really sorry for any inconvenience, but we are very grateful for all the grace & understanding you have all given us & our little family during this time 💓

As some of you know, the end of this pregnancy has been anything but graceful 😅

With that being said, she could come anytime between tonight & 2 months! We really have no idea besides the fact I’m still having active contractions. We do have a plan to keep the shop either open 2 days a week or fully online with shipping or in store pick up, but I’ll have more details later next week.

Until then- I am in the shop (with my feet up!) and we’re having some pretty awesome sales to do a little clean out for new inventory after maternity leave! I’ll be posting hours daily if things change, but as long as baby is cooperating I plan on being here Tuesday-Friday 1-6pm.
