An innately creative person with a strong passion for cooking and beautiful food. I am a cottage bakery located in Adrian, Michigan.

All products are made in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The baking environment has been exposed to nuts, eggs, wheat, dairy, and seafood.

I’ve been quiet and it’s not because I’ve been busy as heck — it’s because things were taken out of my control and my body said, “STOP!!!!” I had emergency surgery, a few days in the hospital, some missed orders (which hurt my heart), and I am home recuperating. I’m okay…sore as hell and antsy because I’m used to moving at warp speed.

You all mean the world to me. I love baking, I crave the creative outlet, I love working with food, but I also love my day-job career, which often competes with Hey Sugar Tips. I go go go and don’t take the time to take care of me (character flaw). Welp, my body is telling me it’s time to slow down.

With that said, I am not booking any new orders at this time. If you are on my books, no worries, I will fulfill my commitment (and it won’t be an issue). I will reassess my health in a few months and make the decision open my books again.

Sometimes the last-minute, short-stack, no-design-direction orders are the most fun. I had a spare minute and was able to do these for a 91-y/o’s birthday instead of binge on Netflix. Donna loved them and I loved adding my touch to her birthday celebration. 🧡
