This award celebrates students’ achievements in academics, leadership, creativity, and outreach. This award is the highest honor that can be awarded to a student in the system. The USM Board of Regents Student Excellence Scholarships are officially open. This scholarship recognizes University System of Maryland students who demonstrate excellence in leadership, outreach, innovation, and academics. If you are making an impact on your campus and in your community, this opportunity is for you.

Applications are due Friday, February 6, 2026.
