Hou-doe-ni gave us 7 chunky kits last night!

Bff had 9 babies this morning!

The babies are harli, tri, and booted tri. Some are dilutes of each of the 3 colors. The colors will come out better as they get older.

Can someone kindly tell the artic that their weather is drunk and causing problems over here? Its April! Why do we have 2 inches of snow 😂

The farm barter was a huge success! I always have an absolute blast, but more than that we got a LOT of chickens and ducks in donation as well as a handful of rabbits.

The crew and I then spent the next two days after putting all of the donated animals into the donate freezer. One member of the crew donated some of his personal stock of venison and fish that he hunted and fished himself. It was a LOT of work, but fully worth it. Next year we plan on counting how many animals we put away, but that did not happen this year.

Of course after all that you take a few days to recover and naturally that is when the kids get sick, so the post is late, but its here!

When all was said and done we had goat, chicken, duck, rabbit, venison, and fish in the donate freezer. We have since helped many families in need and will continue helping as long as we have meat to give. We are currently trying to figure out a date to do another harvest for people who had animals and couldn't make it to the swap.

Today was a good day. We got this "sleepy" guy broken down and off to the freezers. His nap will help local families in need.
