Reproductive health care and mental health for all I asked friends and family if what I was feeling was common, and I was not encouraged by what I heard.

When I found out I was pregnant, I went through a roller coaster emotions ranging from sad to excited to scared.Pregnancy did not start off magical as most women experience in the first trimester. However, as I progressed into the second trimester, I realized that my anxiety and depression in the beginning had not subsided. I felt shame in being depressed while pregnant, not to mention the shame I

Pride Month!

During a debate in the House of Commons during Pride Month last year, Labour MP Sir Chris Bryant made a powerful speech about the importance of Pride Month.

He said that even the most “well-meaning liberal souls” have questioned why Pride is still necessary, and whether the LGBTQ+ community still needs more rights.

Bryant responded that “we have always needed Pride” and “we need it now”.

Repost from .are.love

happy pride month 🌈

a reminder that pride is not just an aesthetic, trend, or rainbow filter. it exists because people fought to be seen, loved, protected, and allowed to exist openly.

this month is about joy, identity, history, community, and making space for people to be fully themselves.

whether you’re out, questioning, closeted, celebrating loudly, or quietly surviving, you belong here 🤍

This is by far the hardest post we’ve ever had to write as an organization. This past Wednesday, May 27, our former teammate Marchell R**e, died after a long battle with cancer. Marchell joined Liv Center back when it was Push Counseling in 2020. Since then she had served as a co-clinical director, intern supervisor, speaker, mentor, friend, and chosen family to us over the years.
Her fierceness, her brilliance, and her light were ever present, all while cheering on others to rise with her. Marchell was a vital part to this team and to many of our personal lives. Our prayers are with her family as they grieve and navigate life without her presence on this Earth.
It’s never about the amount of time you are alive, but what you do to make it count and leave something behind. Marchell made every moment count and has definitely left a lasting impact to those who knew her.
May her soul find rest, and may her memory be a blessing.

This is not our post, but it can be very helpful! There is a difference between “baby blues” and post-partum depression. Help is available for both.

It was such an honor to be invited by in Dallas to speak at their inaugural conference. We had a great group of parents who are putting co-regulation and secure attachment into practice! Thank you, and we can’t wait until next year!

New dads, you can be a huge help while mom is feeding. Ask your partner what they need from you. And moms, don't hesitate to share your needs.
