It's a little windy out there! Be careful when you go for your walk along the park paths.
Also, if you see any wind damage in the parks, please give us a call to let us know. We depend on the "Eagle Eyes" of our residents to help keep our parks safe!

We had a great turnout at our Recycling Extravaganza over the weekend. Thanks to all who stopped by!
After our big celebration on Friday night, it was back to business as usual on Saturday. Kay was with Geri Estvanik at Addison Park District at their Recycling Extravaganza (in the freezing rain) and we had 12 volunteers from Call One and 42 teachers getting books and supplies to bring back into their classrooms! Another busy Saturday for SCARCE!!

Tomorrow, Saurday Oct. 24th between 10am and 1pm you can "drive thru" and drop off your recycling and shredding.
Is it Fall Cleaning time at your house? Let the Addison Park District help! We'll take many "hard to recycle" items this Saturday at Community Rec Center between 10-1.
You can also volunteer during the same hours. As thanks, we'll have a donut breakfast, a pizza lunch, and a t-shirt for all.
