A year of community giving and one capstone student fundraiser helped Greenhill secure the full $100,000 grant from the Edward E. Ford Foundation. Our Class of 2030 closed the gap by selling artwork created during a Middle School science unit, helping expand hands-on learning opportunities and deepen students' connection to sustainability, with plans for new and enhanced learning spaces and programming across grade levels. The arts are about more than the final performance, exhibition, or publication. They are built through curiosity, practice, collaboration, and countless hours of creative work.

At the Upper School Arts Awards Assembly, we celebrated students whose talent and dedication enriched the Greenhill community throughout the year. Congratulations to all of our award recipients and to every student who contributed their creativity to the arts this year.

What makes a class truly great? According to Benjy Beckman at this year's Commencement, it's not looking the same or thinking the same. It's showing up for each other anyway, and building something bigger than any one person. "We are a collection of mismatched individuals. We do not all look the same, think the same, or want the same things, but somewhere along the way we developed a very big heart, a shared ambition, and a collective success, and in a way that feels rare, we genuinely love each other… Every graduating senior carries their own private moments, some large, some small. Together they created a sense of belonging, a shared identity, and a feeling that we are a part of Greenhill and Greenhill is a part of us."
