Pool Care Reminder: Maintaining Proper Water Levels Between Visits 🔆 -
Pool Care Reminder: Maintaining Proper Water Levels Between Visits 🔆 Your pools water level is constantly changing and it is crucial to keep it at the right level to avoid any potential problems if the water level gets too low.
Below freezing temperatures and winter weather are expected, beginning Thursday evening and throughout the early part of next week for North Texas.
We wanted to share this instructional video in the event of a power outage to assist our customers, and help to avoid any potential damage to your pool and equipment.
As long as you have power and water is flowing, these steps do not need to be taken. Your freeze guard will kick in, and keep the water circulating. Just remember to monitor your water levels and ensure that the water level remains up to the middle of your skimmer. If you do not have an auto-fill line, keep a garden hose handy to keep the levels consistent (as evaporation will occur). It is normal for your pump to run longer when the temperatures outside are at or near freezing.
