Dogface Supply is primarily a C&R era Federally licensed dealer. I buy, sell, trade, consign weapons. I started collecting Militaria when I was 8 years old.
I have had a passion for it ever since. I bought all the reference books I could find and pored over them for years until the internet came along and widened my spectrum. I started collecting guns at 12 and by age 16 had amassed a collection of 44! I started doing my own gunsmithing, but was always very interested by the markings. Check out this Civil War Captain's C**t 1860 Army revolver, holster, and Model 1850 foot sword. He was with the 1st CA/71st PA Volunteers, Co.P, and was wounded at the Battle of Ball's Bluff in 1861. He later resigned, and then was recommissioned a Captain in the 5th Reserve Corps by Lincoln himself in a signed commission in 1863. All the photos are on my website at dogfacesupply.com
