Spring Berry & Goat Cheese Salad: A mix of tender leafy greens, sliced local strawberries, English peas, and thinly shaved radishes, with honey mint vinaigrette

Choice of Entrées:

1. Bouef Bourguignon, prepared with chuck beef, red wine, carrots, onions, garlic, bacon, before stock, pearl onions, bouquet garni,

2. Poached Salmon Normandy-Style, prepared with butter, shallots, sliced apples, dry apple cider, lemon juice, salt & pepper

3. Vegetarian Option: Ratatouille, prepared with yellow squash, zucchini, bell pepper, red onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes, white wine, olive oil

Entrées Served with: Braised red cabbage and Herbed Mashed Potatoes

MOONSHINE HOLLER combines the adroit talents and musical experience of Paula Bradley (vocals, guitar, banjo and banjo ukulele) and Pete Killeen (fiddle, mando, guitar, banjo.) who blend their love of old-time music into a lively duet that delights audiences with a smorgasbord of tunes and songs from America's rich musical heritage. Michael brings his trio to the Bascom Lodge series featuring vocalist Emmy Irvine.
They will entertain you with classic selections from the Great American Songbook.

Today, Sunday, May 31, at Bascom Lodge:
Music with Jack Swindlehurst
Jack grew up listening to music borrowed from the local library in Middletown, Connecticut – the Kinston Trio, the Chad Mitchell Trio, Beethoven, the Smothers Brothers and the Beatles. They all influenced Jack's early creative drive to write songs of love and life. Some 50 years and 70 songs later, Jack still performs a few early pieces along with recent original works.
Jack has a CD out called "Gotta Catch It 'For' I Lose It".
