My mom shared these with me because yesterday was our 7 year anniversary at the !! ðŸĨ•🍅ðŸĨŽA lot has changed since then (primarily haircuts) and we have a lot more vegetables now! I also fear that Laura and I have aged *slightly* 😅 but we were both in our 20s when we started this adventure! Crazy! We are so grateful to be part of the community. Here's to year 8!

Farming in New England can be rocky business. Of quartz, we try not to take our Pittsfield Loam for granite. It's actually pretty gneiss to grow in. But gosh garnet, these rocks put us in a pretty gritty situation sometimes! It doesn't take an igneous to know we've got it pretty good here in New England. Soil is the bedrock of the farm, and in general our soil is sodalite-ful. 😉

We made it to ranunculus season! It's been a long, cold spring here in the Berkshires, but that's exactly what these Mediterranean flowers like best. We are getting tall stems, big flowers, and long vase life out of these beauties! Their season is not a long one, so join us this Saturday at the first Outdoor North Adams Farmers Market.

This could be you!! The gold at the end of the rainbow are dahlia tubers!!
We had a bit of a scary dahlia tuber winter. This winter was colder than it's been in years, and when I checked on our tubers in February, I found a decent amount of frost damage. BUT luckily, after sorting, we still have enough tubers to share with all of you! Want to know when our dahlia tuber sale will start? Leaves are turning, apples are ripe, and a chill is in the air. All of this means that fall is just around the corner, which means that our fall CSA will be opening in two short weeks! Our Fall CSA share runs from Halloween to Christmas, allowing you to extend the local harvest season and have local veggies at your holiday celebrations! Enjoy fresh greens from our greenhouses, plus winter squash purchased locally through and .
The fall CSA is also a great way to try out a CSA in general and see what you think without committing to a whole season. If you are someone who has been considering joint us in the past, this is a great opportunity! Sign up for our newsletter to learn more.

This series is called, "Meg attempts to take a picture of the crew." This picture doesn't include everyone who helped on the farm this season, but what a great crew! We are so lucky to work with such wonderful people (and puppies).
