Are you more of a night or morning person? I like to sleep at night and stay awake during the day. Along through life I have been both but as I got older I definitely like to sleep at night.

What are your feelings about eating meat? I don't eat meat and my body function is great. I quit eating meat 15 years ago and I feel a lot better. I was a hypocrite because I always said I loved animals but you can't love animals and eat them too, so my mind is at ease because I'm not killing anything.

What are your two favorite things to wear? Shorts and running shoes. Shorts means warm weather and I like wearing them because I don't like being confined to things on my legs. Running shoes are comfortable and light and airy and I like to run.

What technology would you be better off without, why? Electronics have complicated a simple world. I grew up at the beginning of computers and we had to actually think maybe not good decisions but they were mine. If you drove you had to make sure the car would make it or your walking no cell phones.

What's the hardest decision you've ever had to make? Why? Getting married was a hard decision because I liked living together but she wanted to get married so I did. It wasn't that hard but I don't have a hard decision like having to unplug my mother from life support. I try to keep my life as simple as I can it's too short to worry about things I can't change.

Do you or your family make any special dishes for the holidays? I'm a vegan, my sister is vegetarian and the other is a carnivore. So meals for us are complicated so we don't do meals. I don't feel like I need food to get together with anyone, I'm not sure why people think food should come first before they can socialize?
