Scratch Made Simple

Pretty sure it’s bottom 2 for me this week 😅

All I got to say is you’re the real MVP for putting this out there. I’ve been obsessed with these baked beans ever since we visited England 2 years ago. But I never would have thought to eat them this way!

Here’s what I did:

Heat the beans in a pot. I added salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Cook your pasta according to the directions on the box. Drain your pasta and add to your dish of choice. Top with cheese of your choice, then add the beans. Turn on your favorite show, get all comfy cozy, and enjoy ☺️

It doesn’t have to be complicated! A lot of folks tell me that they just could never cook/eat like we do - “it’s so expensive!” or “it just seems like a lot.” And yes, initially it can feel daunting but don’t try to change everything all at once!

We had so much fun at the rock garden with our Wild + Free group. We also got to unbox our package from our friends in Vancouver Island! It was really cool to see all the items they sent us and they even included a few extras like a map showing the distance between where they live and where we live. Can’t wait to do it again in the spring!
