Four and a half minutes of sewing = 26 minutes of ironing, cutting and more pinning! 🙄😂🫤

Struggling to accomplish some sewing today🫤. Not sure where my drive to get this done went but…
30 minutes of pressing interfacing, cutting, and pinning have me ready to sit at the machine for a little while.

Right? I am staying consistent ant moving forward on this quilt. 🤣🙄🤣

Do you see the progress? I know I have made some but it kinda feels like I am swimming upstream with bricks in my pocket.🫤

The center column is taking shape. Yeah, I know it looks like a hot mess, but trust me, there is a plan brewing. An ever changing totally-not-made-up-as-I-go (🤪🙃🤣) plan, but a plan nonetheless!

The beginning of what retirement looks like…

Found this box of cut squares and nine patch blocks. Not sure what they started out to be but…
I am making granny squares out of them! We will see how many I get and decide from there.
