Front Line Leadership is a highly interactive and engaging 10-module program that provides new and current supervisors and managers with a toolkit of practical communication and employee development tools that reduce conflict, improve employee performance, and enhance team effectiveness. Leaders learn to deliver clear direction, coach employees, and provide effective feedback. The ultimate goal of the training is to enable leaders to create work environments that foster employee engagement, improve performance, and increase employee satisfaction. Training will be 4-hours, on Tuesdays as noted. Drivers Education – July 6th - Statistically, teen drivers are involved in a high percentage of car accidents. Because of that, first time drivers should get all the practice they can before they get behind the wheel. Driver education and training can help make you a safer driver and make the roads of Oklahoma safer for all. Oklahoma State Department of Education requires 30 hours of in-class curriculum and 6 hours of behind the wheel driver training. On days students are scheduled to drive, they will be in the vehicle with the instructor and another student. CDL Class B-Behind the Wheel (School Bus) – June 22nd - A Class B Commercial License Permit with Passenger and School Bus endorsements is required to enroll and take this course. PTC District Partner Schools Receive a Discount! If self-paying, call 580.310.2248 to pay by phone or stop by Building Entrance C at Pontotoc Technology Center to make your payment in person. Schools may provide a PO for invoicing. This Behind the Wheel (BTW) School Bus Driver training course will teach basic skills, safety and mastery of basic maneuvers to prepare to become a licensed Oklahoma School Bus Driver. You will be required to demonstrate proficiency in all of these skills to successfully complete BTW and prepare for the Service Oklahoma skills/license test.
