I think I'll repeat the cross that produced these two. Mom had 7 but they were born on a 50° morning that turned into an almost 90° day and 5/7 overheated. But I like the two survivors for different reasons.
Windfalls Blue Gnu (Brindled Broken Opal Buck)
Windfalls Faux Zebra (Blue Otter Doe (will test for Brindle but visually clean))

Mom on top, Windfalls Inorganic, pictured as a nursing 2 yo.
The next two are by the same buck. It wasn't the best type pairing, but let me keep the chocolate gene around. And the both have things I adore. Windfalls Patella, the chocolate otter (pictures nursing) has really nice fur with way better density than anything else currently in the barn. She has 5 kits right now from a buck we bought to improve fur and I cannot wait to see how they turn out. They're all black otters, but carry chocolate and REW. She'll be a short term use doe. Windfalls Ossicle, the broken Lynx, just turned SR, has shown well despite being barely legal color wise. (Just a nostril spot) She's massive and always has been. She gets great comments on her fur, and it has nice resistance and beautiful ring color.
Windfalls Faux Zebra, the blue Otter (possibly Brindled) is from a purchased buck, she's not weaned yet but I love her width and the rearview is promising. I don't love her shoulder in any dimension, and I have concerns the width in her midsection will not be matched at the HQ but we'll see. But if I decide to pursue the Tri she won't because bad starting place.
If she took Windfalls Inorganic is bred to her Lynx son Hyoid. Im really looking forward to seeing those. She also has an Amber Buck and a Broken Brindled Opal buck I'm growing out.

Dam on the top row, Windfalls Hippo Stomp. She's pictured at 4 years old, still nursing.
The next 3 rows are her daughters:
Windfalls Inorganic: 2 yo, pictured nursing
Windfalls TSETSE: Just turned SR
Windfalls Honeybee: Young JR
In fixing some areas I've definitely taken steps back in others. Inorganic is so much easier to maintain. She keeps weight super easily even raising 9 big babies, she also has better fur pads. I do like her proportions from the top significantly better, but she doesn't have the depth of body or loin of her mom. But the fur is worlds better on Inorganic.
TseTse and Honeybee are both stronger in the shoulder, wider based and with better fur than mom.
Hopefully some of the young bucks will be a better fit for Hippo this Fall. I have not found the best buck for her. She spent this entire season bred to one buck trying to replicate Firefly. And I did get a really cute buck that is promising with some of the same things I loved about Firefly.
Inorganic and Hippo will definitely stay. I don't know that I need both of the other girls, but we'll see.

This is most of the old enough to evaluate does that I'm deciding on. Not yet 8 weeks to just turned SRs. I can see the plan looking at the does...the bucks, well they're currently a mess of parts.
I currently do not have a buck I'd call a "herd buck" but fingers crossed one can be made with the parts and pieces lol. And as they age and develop I can prune the numbers down a bit, especially now that I have a better idea what the does will need.
The Castor and the Broken Castor are full sisters, the broken Opals are full sisters, the Blue Otter and Broken Lynx are maternal half sisters and the Castor and Broken Castors mom is Grandma to the Broken Opals, Broken Lynx, and Blue Otter. The broken Opals, Castor, and Broken Castor are by the same sire. The chocolate is a recent purchase :).
Windfalls Faux Zebra, (awaiting name), Windfalls Honeybee, Windfalls Ossicle Windfalls TseTse, Windfalls Sky Island, Windfalls Branches Polly

Well if your shoulder is that long at 4 weeks I shudder to think what you'd look like grown lol.
These are from my very slow Himi project...this cross was made less for type and more trying to get an actual solid self based Himi to replace the dam so I can reduce the number of unusable kits going forwards. I only got 1/10 that was the correct color.

All these Himis and only one is a showable Himi lol.
Top Left: Broken Martenized Himi
Top Right: Showable Black Himi!
Bottom Left: Martenized Blue Himi
Bottom Right: Broken Himi

Windfalls Farrah Faucet got bred yesterday! She's the start of my "Satin" line. At some point I'll add some actual Satin in there lol.
She needs more HQ to balance but I just love her!

Nicely colored Broken Opal vs Poorly colored Broken Opal.
The nicely colored Opal we have correct under color and lovely vibrant Rufus. The poor colored Opal really lacks Rufus so that intermediate band is very dull. The white under color is a common fault, not a DQ, at least for Rex. (There is also 8ish weeks of age difference)

6.5 week old bucks from Windfalls Hippo Stomp and Windfalls Lepidopterist. Pretty easy to see the last place buck compared to my current favorite.
Left is the clear bottom buck, excessively heavy blanket pattern, very flat, shoulder is already rough and out of proportion and he's much finer b***d. He definitely gives up size too.
There are 7 bucks in this litter.
Right guy is going to be deep, and I love how smooth and balanced he is. He's also one of the largest.
Right now 2/3 of my almost certain keepers are SOLID from a Broken x Broken cross....that never happens.

I'm going to post several genetics or color ID images, some of these y'all have already seen but just finished up a youth clinic and want to repost so they're easily accessible.
