Latest project, now I’m itching to do another one!

I can’t wait to surprise my niece and nephews at Christmas time with their “new” kitchen 💜 It took a lot of trips to @homedepot and learning some new things along the way with my @ryobitoolsusa , but it was a fun project and I’m so happy with how it turned out! First I took everything apart and painted all of the pieces. It was falling apart so I also added plywood to the back to make it much more sturdy and so I could add a backsplash. I made a drawer where it use to be an open space on the bottom. A few more repairs were done, like replacing the broken piece on the stove. My favorite part is the thrifted antique L brackets to hold up the microwave shelves. The lights are a fun added touch for the kiddos too with a real light switch. The kitchen was originally bright red and my son’s. He and his friends would spend hours playing restaurant. Vintage Mid Century Modern FDB Mobler Danish Spindle Back Wood Chair (made in Denmark)

This is a project piece, in restored condition, it retails for $250+. I haven’t had a chance to finish restoring it and I’m trying to make some room in my workshop. There was a chip on the front of the seat that I’ve finished filling and sanding. I haven’t gotten around to sanding the rest of the chair and repainting it. Price of $50 reflects condition. If I get around to finish restoring it, the price will go up.
