Being a business owner is a constant battle between “I’ve got this” and “what the hell am I doing?” 😂

There are days I feel confident, creative and completely sure of where I’m headed… and then there are days I question every decision I make, wonder if I’m doing enough, and feel like I’m dropping a ball somewhere between running a business, being a wife, being a mom, and just being a person.

I’m learning that doubt doesn’t necessarily mean you’re on the wrong path. Sometimes it just means you’re doing something that matters enough to scare you a little.

Some of the things I once thought were impossible are now just… my normal life. Things I prayed for, worked for, stressed over and almost talked myself out of.

So on the days when I’m overwhelmed and questioning whether I can actually juggle all of this, I’m trying to remember:

Maybe “impossible” is really just “I’m possible.” 🙏

My kids just started school, and I made each of them a little “Get to Know Me” flyer for their teachers. It got me thinking… I’ve had so many new faces join this little corner of the internet lately that maybe I should do one too.

So if you’re new here (or you’ve been around for a while but don’t know much about me), hi! I’m Lindsey. 👋

I’m not just an interior designer—I’m a proud fire wife and mom to three beautiful and very different boys who keep me on my toes.

When I’m not designing homes, you’ll usually find me at the lake, cheering on my oldest at a baseball game, or just laughing with my family because we tend to be a little goofy. I love music, singing (whether anyone wants to hear it or not 😆), fantasy movies, and if it’s fall or Halloween season… I’m in my happy place.

I have a degree in marketing, and before becoming an interior designer I worked in several different industries. Those experiences gave me a well-rounded perspective that I bring into every project. I don’t just focus on making a home beautiful—I focus on making it practical for the people who actually live there. I’m budget-friendly, function-first, and I believe great design should make everyday life easier.

One thing you’ll never hear from me is judgment. When I walk into your home, it’s a judgment-free zone. Please don’t apologize for the toys on the floor, the messy kitchen, or the laundry piled on the couch. I promise… I get it 100%. Homes are meant to be lived in, and life gets messy sometimes.

One of my favorite parts of this job is the relationships I build along the way. I’m often in my clients’ homes for months—sometimes even years—as we work through projects together. By the end, many of my clients have become genuine friends, and that’s something I never take for granted.

Your home is where your family celebrates birthdays, gathers around the dinner table, watches movies, makes messes, and creates memories you’ll carry forever. Being trusted to help create those spaces is truly an honor, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

Lighting changes everything, especially your paint color.
