Mr. Haun was my 8th grade shop teacher. Imagine teaching a 13 year old kid how to use a bandsaw. I could have lost a finger! But, I didn’t. I learned personal responsibility and respect. 42 years later I still have all my digits and love my craft.

Working on a special project. This 1850’s cabin needs a bathroom upgrade. As the story goes, Willie Nelson stayed here in the 90’s and used that toilet. Accepting offers, but I know what I’ve got 🤣

We brought this tired oak kitchen back to life! Installed a large crown molding on top of the wall cabinets to start. Cleaned, primed and painted the cabinets with Benjamin Moore “Advance” cabinet finish. Marble tile backsplash was installed after the new countertops were set. New cabinet hardware was installed and drawer boxes were repaired as necessary.

20’ LVL beam installed, electrical and plumbing rerouted. Part of a full kitchen renovation.

Complete bathroom renovation. Barrier-free shower. Blocking was added in the walls for future grab bars and wall mounted bench.

Built this project for my wife’s architecture firm, Cedar Architecture. At over 20’ tall and built from pallets, it was an impressive site to behold.

Fancy playhouse I built off-site and installed in a backyard in downtown Annapolis. Homeowner suggested that once the kids were grown she would have me come back and lower it to the ground so that she could use it as a potting shed!

Here’s a way to gain more storage in a bathroom. I like to build and install these cabinets behind the bathroom door. Adjustable shelving, mirrored door, electrical for the toothbrush.
