π³β¨ Branching out in Kindergarten! β¨π³
Our final reading module was all about trees, and our little learners absolutely loved it! To celebrate finishing the unit, the class teamed up to create a beautiful mural showing all the ways we can help and protect our trees. π¨β€οΈ
From learning how trees help us breathe to discovering how we can take care of them, these kids are officially certified eco-heroes!

Second graders worked together to do some experiments to find out how to best create a marble track.
They tested the height of the ramp, the length of the tube and the weight of the marble. Students measured each roll down the track and then compared the results.
At the end of the testing, groups were able to use their materials and create their own marble track.

The 5th graders at Abrams have been hard at work combining their math skills and imagination to create animals for the Volume Zoo. (Mrs. Manthei's class)
Using their knowledge of volume, the students designed and built 3D zoo animals out of boxes and then calculated the volume of their animals.

π§ Anchors aweigh in 4K! β΅οΈ
Our little scientists have been learning all about water this month, and this week we took our learning to the high seas (or, well, water in a bin!).
We engineered our very own boats using different craft materials and put them to the ultimate test. Through our experiments, we discovered what makes a boat sink or float, and investigated what happens when you start adding weight. ππ§±
Safe to say, we have some future marine engineers on our hands! Check out our crew in action. π
