Thanks to everyone who has helped get our cattle to this point. So many people show up for us at AI time, fence building time, etc.

Thanks to mine and Sarah’s family. Parents, aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins. You all showed up for us in a big way.

And most importantly, thank you God for providing for our family, for a beautiful day, for the opportunity to raise our children on a farm, and for all the people who support us. We strive to do it all for your glory.

Has there ever been a better time to invest in your cow herd?

It’s sale week, and many of you have questions! Here are the answers. We want to make your buying experience as easy as possible.

Q: When and where is the sale?
A. Saturday, April 11th at noon. Use 296 River Industrial Park Road, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609 as your GPS address. That’s the easiest entrance if you’re pulling a trailer. Signs will be up on sale day to direct you.

Q: When can I view cattle?
A: Friday from noon til dark. And Saturday from daylight til the sale starts.

Q: Can I bid online?
A: Yes! Make sure to register to bid ASAP at https://www.dvauction.com/events/262902-matney-angus-nester-angus-production-4-11-26.

Q: Do you deliver?
A: Yes! Free delivery within 250 miles on any purchase $5,000 or greater. We’re happy to deliver, but if you take your purchase home directly following the sale, we’ll discount you $50 per lot!

Lot 42 is a heifer-safe bull with nice growth upside. Calving ease and birthweight in the top 15% of the breed to go along with an actual birthweight of only 60 lbs.

Lot 84 is one of our favorite open heifers, the kind you don’t want to part with.

She’s got the look and a nice EPD profile to match. With WW in the top 25% and $W in the top 15%, she’s poised to bring in a heavy calf every year.

She sells this Saturday, April 11th, in Cedar Bluff.
