Remember I previously posted Washington politics had reached my campaign?
Well this morning I received a call
Informing me that my opponent, Mr. Perez, had called a gentleman and began telling him that I had sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl in Hale Center when I was the Police Chief there but no one would file against me. Perez also told him that I had planted a recording device with some other girls or something of the sort.
The FACT is that when I ran for Constable the first time (a day after announcing my candidacy) in 2010 someone made that allegation to ruin my chances of getting elected and the investigation lasted about 30 minutes when the Texas Ranger, Marshall Thomas, uncovered the origins of the complaint and that is was unfounded and had never happened. This was just an attempt to slander me for political purposes!
The case was closed the same day!
The Hale Center Superintendant at the time, Rick Teran and the Hale Center City Manager Joshua Jones were notified by the Rangers office that the allegation was unfounded and was a political ploy to tarnish my name and prevent me from being elected. Here we are now with Round 2.

I have 14 and 15 year old daughters and this is disgusting that he wants to be Constable so bad that he resorts to this level of behavior. Due to his past behaviors in Abernathy I should not be surprised!
Mr. Perez signed the Fair Campaign Practices and has certainly violated that!

I’m sorry for my children that they have to possibly hear this in the community!
