Forgot to say I am playing in Joshua Tree on Saturday, opening the show for John Meeks and band. Come on by if you are feeling the desert vibes!

The long awaited Mono Sources record has finally been released to the world! This is the second album of theirs that I have had the privilege to be a featured co-writer on, and from the first few notes I heard of 'Before Now or After', I became aware that the project had graduated to greater heights in songwriting.

Enemy Fatigue is a song about fighting blindly for a lost cause - partly recognizing it, but enduringly unable to escape the spectacle of getting entangled in the struggle, out of hubris and spite. The unravelling of a codependent dream, while balancing on the proverbial tightrope...

I was given an incredible amount of freedom by Mono Sources to deliver whatever my heart desired into a microphone. It was also my first time recording all of my own vocals for a track, and I was able to really explore a lot of ideas in the process- the vast majority of which made it to the final mix. (somehow) 🥴

I am forever grateful for Jesse and Brett’s faith in my artistic vision, and the many years of friendship we have shared. I feel blessed to have creative folks like this on my path to self-realization, and hope to work with Mono Sources on future collaborations.
