We are so excited about this two year old Metallic Cat filly bred & owned by Meghan O’Brien!
We are blessed to have a barn full of talented 2-year-olds. These young horses are some of our favorites to work with because they are truly a blank slate, full of potential and ready to learn.
Our priority is building confidence and creating positive experiences from day one. Taking the time to develop a willing, trusting partner lays the foundation for a successful future, whether that horse is destined for the show pen, ranch work, or a lifelong riding career.
This beautiful filly is by Hesa Dual Bet out of Foxy Smarty and is proudly owned by Marie Reilly and ridden by our assistant trainer Dillon Johnson. We are excited about her future and grateful for the opportunity to be part of her journey.
Our daughter got her first ride on our 3-year-old SRV filly today, and moments like these are a great reminder of what we’re building.
While futurities and other LAE events are a major focus for us, it’s just as important that our horses are broke, quiet, and user-friendly. We take pride in developing horses that can be confidently ridden and guided by inexperienced riders, not just shown in the arena.
These horses have long careers and many different jobs ahead of them. Creating a solid foundation now helps ensure they’re prepared for whatever comes next—whether that’s competition, ranch work, trail riding, or becoming someone’s trusted partner.
We’re proud of this filly and excited to watch both her and our daughter continue to grow together. ❤️🐴

This horse has been part of the LPH family for a long time, and it’s been incredible to watch his journey unfold.
From making the NRCHA Limited Open Hackamore World Show Finals, to partnering with Frank DeAngelo on numerous High Point titles and World Show wins, to trail riding across the country—he has done it all.
Now he’s making a splash with CJ at the National High School Rodeo State Finals, proving once again that great horses leave a lasting impact wherever they go.
We couldn’t be more proud of this horse, his owner, and his newly found youth exhibitor. Watching partnerships like this develop is what makes it all worthwhile.
