Auto update date and time
In business, you often have to create a dated document, such as a monthly payment voucher, on a recurring schedule. You can save yourself some time by adding a date function that automatically updates the date each time you create a new voucher.
Place the cursor where you want the date to appear and then navigate to the Insert | Date & Time item on the Ribbon. You'll have your choice of formats—just be sure to check the Update Automaticallybutton before you click OK.
The Internet is a vast and powerful resource and can be overwhelming for some users.

To make things even quicker, if you are visiting a .com address you can type google and then press Ctrl+Enter to type out the full https://www.google.com address.

Hold down the Shift key and click at the desired end spot. All the text in between will be selected.

Inserting a video into a slide
Microsoft PowerPoint has built-in features that allow a video to be played from a slide. If the video you want is located on the Internet, we recommend that you download the video to your computer, then insert it into the slide. Doing so will result in a more smooth video playback on the slide.
Additionally, if the PowerPoint slide deck will be stored on a USB flash drive, it is best to save the video file to the flash drive first, and then insert it into the slide using the steps below.
1. Open the Microsoft PowerPoint program.
2. Open the slide deck you want to add a video to or create a new slide deck.
3. Select the slide where you want to insert the video.
4. In the Ribbon menu bar at the top of the program window, click on the Insert tab.
5. On the Insert tab, click the Video option, then click the Video on My PC sub-option (shown below).
6. In the Insert Video window, navigate to where the video file is located on your computer, select it, and click the Insert button.
7. The video can be played by clicking the Play icon on or just below the video.
Tip: If desired, you can move the video to any place on the slide by clicking the holding the left mouse button on the video, and then dragging it to the desired location.

How much RAM can my computer have?
Computer memory aka RAM.
The total amount of memory, or RAM, that a computer can have is dependent on the motherboard installed in the computer and the operating system. In general, most motherboards will support either two or four memory modules, but the type of memory can differ widely from one motherboard to the next.
Before answering this question its a good idea to determine first what type of computer you're using. Do you have a OEM computer (e.g. Acer, Apple, Dell, or HP) or a custom built computer?
Microsoft Excel Tip
It is possible to start a newline within a cell in nearly all spreadsheet programs.
In the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program, press Alt + Enter to create a new line within the same cell. You can create many new lines in a cell by repeatedly pressing the Alt + Enter key combination.
INTERNET SAFETY
Verify data is encrypted
When sending confidential information over the Internet, such as usernames, passwords, or credit card numbers, only send it securely. To verify this, look for a small lock (Internet explorer browser) in the bottom right corner of your browser window or next (left or right) to the address bar(Firefox and google chrome respectively). If visible, this lock should also be in the locked position and not unlocked.
We also suggest making sure the URL begins with https.
While the lock is in the locked position, data is encrypted, which prevents anyone from understanding the data if it's intercepted. When no lock is visible or in the unlocked position, all information is plaintext and could be read if intercepted. If a web page is not secure, such as an online forum, use a password you wouldn't use with protected sites, such as your online banking website.
