The African Lion

These Vulnerable creatures as per the IUCN RED List. Admired and over the years been used for symbols of courage and strength. They live in groups ( known as prides). Interestingly finding a pride of lionesses will all be related, cubs typically stay with the group as they age. Today, there are only half as many African Lions than there were 25 years ago.
