bebe cool and chameleone are of different character constitution.i met both before they each had a record out.back then i noticed that while bebe cool was brimming with confidence that he could do anything,chameleone was on the other hand brimming with fear to fail to do anything.those two attitudes have kept both at the top of their games.so worried about failure was chameleone that he would overwork to make hits.so confident of success was bebe cool that he would dismiss anything that he believed would make him fail in the music industry.the most important unifying factor for both that few people knew was that they both initially competed to emulate buju banton.now they are grown artistes and each has carved his own space in uganda's music history.when kawesa came back with hits from kenya, he inspired first richie rags (allan tee) to head to nairobi where record deals were available.bebe cool soon followed and called up chameleone.for almost eight months, chameleone and red san were back up singers for bebe cool.but chameleone realized that mastering studio technology would help him put out his huge catalogue of songs and he did just that.bebe cool estimated that doing striking stage performances would define his way forward.bebe cool was a star in nairobi before he had a hit song.on the account of his stage performance.chameleone on the other hand dropped song after song first and this made a strategic difference between the two.but both pushed forward with their chosen approach.good to see both have been on stage with a camaraderie that they shared over a decade ago.
