A Trap for HRDs!

Free Wi-Fi is convenient but dangerous! Hackers can intercept your data. Stay safe by:

✅ Avoiding public Wi-Fi for sensitive work.
✅ Using a VPN to encrypt your connection.
✅ Disabling auto-connect to unknown networks.
✅ Turning off Bluetooth & Airdrop when not in use.

If you must use public Wi-Fi, stick to HTTPS websites and avoid logging into accounts!

The recent cyberattack on BoU, in which UGX 60 million was reportedly stolen, serves as a wake-up call. It reveals a critical vulnerability in our digital systems—even institutions with robust resources are not immune.

For individuals, this incident is a reminder of the growing sophistication of cyber threats. We must:

🔑 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙨: Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication.

🛡️ 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙑𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩: Avoid clicking suspicious links or sharing sensitive information over unverified platforms.
