Next enforce Road Rules and Demarcate walkways, Zebra crossings and Littering fines, because Cars cannot compete with pedestrians.
As the elections conclude, We once again salute every Ugandan for choosing peace over chaos. We spoke differently, voted differently, and hoped differently—but we stood together as one nation. That alone is victory. The world watched, and we proved that our maturity is stronger than our differences. Whether your side won or not, Uganda won. 🇺🇬

BREAKING NEWS: NRM leading presidential polls with 76.2% as Uganda decides on the next President of Uganda from 2026-2031 with NUP as runner’s up with 19.8% after about 45% polling stations have been tallied. Stay tuned for more updates.
As Uganda approaches the 2026 presidential elections, the country is once again at an important democratic moment. Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) has imposed restrictions on internet access, citing reasons such as national security, public order, and controlling misinformation.
On one hand, supporters of internet restrictions argue that they can help reduce the spread of false information, prevent online incitement, and maintain calm during a sensitive period.
On the other hand, critics note that internet shutdowns can limit access to information, affect businesses and services, and reduce transparency and communication during elections.
At Neutral Uganda, we recognize that both stability and digital freedoms are important. A balanced approach that protects peace while respecting citizens’ rights remains key to strengthening Uganda’s democratic process.
🗳️ Stay informed. Stay peaceful.
As Ugandans, this coming presidential election is a moment to show our true character as a nation. Let us go into it with **integrity, peace, and love for one another**.
Different opinions and choices do not make us enemies—we are all Ugandans first. Let us vote peacefully, respect the law, and respect each other’s choices. Winning or losing an election should never be a reason for anger, violence, or hatred. Leadership comes and goes, but **our country and our lives remain**.
If your candidate wins, celebrate with humility.
If your candidate is defeated, accept the outcome with maturity and hope for a better tomorrow.
Peace is stronger than anger. Unity is stronger than division. Uganda is stronger when we choose love over hate. 🇺🇬
Let us protect our nation—before, during, and after the elections.
