I ain't got no motivation to myself or anyone today.
it's just been about the day, and it's beauty
the smiles that it left on my face
the new souls as friends I had to meet
and just the kind of tomorrow I'm tryna create.
it's just me & myself.

Dear friend,
I know I am a mess you've found hard to fix, and for some reason, I feel like you don't understand me. But It also helps to think of how I don’t understand you either.
That's because when you're stuck expecting the best out of me, I flaw doing the opposite because the only thing that you see is what I did. When, in fact, you should be looking at why I did it. So I end up most times pretending to be what I'm not cause I want to make you my friend proud of me.
And yes, along the way, I have seen you doing the same, and we both didn't bother to be better friends to each other who didn't expect perfections but imperfections.
But yes, sometimes, it takes a good fall to really know where we stand. And I think I do now. I want to be that friend who will help you grow through your imperfections; that friend who will give you a hand to stand on a fall and mostly a friend who knows that imperfection isn't a flaw but a means to grow.
So, I'm sorry I've been a jerk. I will be better.
Best regards

Dear Self
There was a time you looked into a mirror and didn't know the person who was looking back at you.
You had patience because you understood that all things change in due time.
You had to learn the hard way that wishing can not bring bad to glory or cause hardships to end cause life is what you make, not what makes you.
And as you outgrew from our younger self, you learned not to make excuses but rather to make changes that define who we are all together today.
I know it's never enough now more than ever that it's just you and I, standing as a shield to our mother's children; fighting the world to make our life better; learning to be better with no one to say "Hey Gibs, It's going to be alright" or even just a glimpse of a smile we once had on our faces with her around guiding our steps to another basking light of day.
But i want you to know that I'm proud of you for laying this foundation for us. And also the fact that you didn't waste the ability you were born with to change our life cause where I stand now is far from fair compared to what you had to go through to bring us here.
And now, with the foundation you've laid, let me raise the walls of the purpose we were born to fulfill before I pass on the kingship to our future self to do the roofing and furnishing as we strive to make life better to everyone around us.
Wish me luck.
I love you.

I once took a capital L
& placed an O next to it
Then a V
& finally an E
it was magnificent;
I thought it was the greatest thing
A man could possess.
But then it crumbled to dust
Blowing in the wind,
Now I don’t give an F
Whether it’s followed
By a U & a C & a K
Or not.

(To the stories of William street, Kampala)
She won’t like my story
She regrets that a poem makes her cry
But poetry is an instrument
Of sadness.
So I take her to a shady street
She needs to know
Where I come from,
& why I keep going back.
There’s a story
On every cracked vinyl corridor
There is heartache in every blood-paint.

(A letter to the daughters of my mother)
Daughters of my mother
Must we sit back and watch
the circus of adulthood?
Are we to see the self-made lions
roar and spit their half baked s**t at us?
Must we remain in tears as they window
their toothless gums at us just because
they are relatives?
Haven't we seen enough yet?
As disrespect against respect dance accordingly
before the tears of our mother.
Have we heavenly been called to feed
on venoms prepared
by skin shedding serpents?
Daughters of my mother
Should we just let fate do it's bidding?
And continue to squat?
And let our eyes remain a bed for sores
gazing sightlessly at the reality?
As stallions take over our future and
mount our daughters?
Your view as my little ones count to who we can be together.

Who is she!!!?
She’s a life giver, soul molder, love teacher, common sense preacher,
Great negotiator, ambition driver, nine to fiver,
Embodies classy, essence demands respect are high,
Confidently rules her throne of standards,
even in battle's cry,
She’ll fill the mind with hope, heart with passion,
in a public sphere,
Insight to live right, be the best,
in your eyes so clear,
Venus diamond of the universe,
wrap her in your love divine,
Never take her for granted,
in her presence, you’ll shine,
Optimism fuels the fire,
for a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude,
She magnifies the important things, with heartfelt gratitude,
She shines like a diamond, rare and refined,
A symbol of resilience but take notice too,
she has the most brilliant mind.
Don’t underestimate her, she’s a QUEEN …

If you're a true fun of poetry or artistic writing, Steal My soul - His Mistress is a page you might want to check out.
Honestly speaking, I don't know who this young lady is, but by her writings, her driving force to writing is romance, love, betrayal and deceit.
As I and a few friends get to know her better. Please show her some love by following her page. I even bet reading her work alone should be enough to convince you to follow her for more amazing art work.
Show her some love 😯
If you listen carefully, you just might hear her heart whispering…
Breathe your warm breath on my cold heart, let the heat thaw the icy walls that encase my emotions.
I long to feel again.
But I'm so afraid, afraid of being hurt once more, of opening up only to be left shattered and broken.
Handle my fragile heart with care, for it has been through storms and scars that have left it fragile and vulnerable.
I am not a plaything to be tossed aside when you grow bored.
I break too easily for that kind of superficiality.
If you seek a connection, a genuine bond, then stay. Stay and explore the deepest parts of my soul, the hidden places I hide within my heart, that make me who I am.
But know, that with such vulnerability…
comes great responsibility.

Do You Ever Think You Always Alone!!!?
I've been searching for a reason to rise from my bed,
Seeking purpose in this existence, thoughts going off in my head.
In the confines of my room,
The heaviness in my heart remains, a darkness so honest,
I sit in silence, as memories haunt me, unwavering and relentless.
Feeling loneliness, yet always surrounded, never really alone,
Yet the weight of loneliness and depression still makes itself known.
I cherish my friends, hold them dear until the end,
But when I text “I could use some help” I can’t push that damn “send.”
In loneliness, we love to get high,
But descending from it, the coming down, we can’t comply,
If only we could shatter out anxiety, break it apart,
Banish all our demons and heal our wounded heart.
If only our soul could be cleansed and made pure,
in hopes of healing, feelings reassured.
In those moments of isolation’s daunting reign,
There’s power in connection, it can truly alleviate the pain.
For what you give, you receive in return,
The cycle of connection, reaching out,
a lesson we must learn,
Though the feeling of loneliness may linger, I've discovered a profound truth...we are never, ever, really alone, for love is the eternal proof.
