The 37th Uganda YCS National Team Leader sending off other Leaders to go and plant trees 🌳 also in their National Sections

Today the 37th Uganda YCS National Team met at St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Community MUBS Chaple garden, to discuss more about the YCS Anniversary celebrations,
At the end of this we Launched the Initiative of Tree planting 🌳🌴🌲, and we started right away from MUBS, Later we gave those other University like Kyambogo University and Makerere University National Sections to go and plant at there Universities
We argue YCSERS in school to have some Trees in our school, as one of our Celebrating 70 Years Activities

As An Organize To Celebrate the Best that Has Come Out YCS Movement where “YCS has shaped generations beyond Leadership.”,

*YCS MBARARA UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ENROLMENT, HANDOVER AND FAREWELL TO FINALISTS CEREMONY*.
The Young Christian Students (YCS) of Corpus Christi Chaplaincy, Mbarara University of Science and Technology, joyfully thank God for the successful *Enrolment of 17 new members,* Handover Ceremony, and Farewell to the Finalists which took place yesterday *Sunday 10th May, 2026.*
The celebrations began with Holy Mass at Corpus Christi Chaplaincy and were later crowned with a luncheon at *Ehkaya Crescent Hotel in Mbarara City.*
Special appreciation goes to the Animator, *Mr. John Baptist Mujuni, Lecturer at Mbarara University of Science and Technology,* together with the YCS Alumni, for sponsoring and supporting the success of this beautiful ceremony. Your generosity, guidance, and commitment to the growth of YCS are deeply appreciated.
Congratulations to all the newly enrolled members. As YCSers, we were reminded to remain “Alive, Awake and Enthusiastic” while truthfully subscribing to the YCS methodology and values in our daily lives.
We also extend sincere gratitude to all finalists for their dedication and service to the movement. May God bless your next journey abundantly.

Greetings YCS Family 🙏🙏
On Sunday 3rd May 2026, The National Team Leader went to UTC Bushenyi National Section to Officiate the Hand over and Installation of New Leaders of the National Sections
The Ceremony started the on 2nd May of May 2026 which was the evening before the day of Installation and Hand over with a vigil meeting which had guidance of New Leaders from the Former Section Leader "Imanishimwe Geoffrey " and the verbal Preparation of how the HAND OVER day will flow the next morning.
The National Team Leader arived on at 5am on the Handover day,
The Handover day start had several Activities
1. YCS weekly meeting at 7 am to 8am
2. Organizing the Church for Mass.
3. We had Mass and during Mass the New Leaders took the commitment prayer
4.The Incoming Team Lit the candle to Mother Mary the Seat of wisdom.
And at the end of there was awarding of the Certificates to the out going Leaders and some members that are in their final semester.
Then Father gave a Special Blessing to the both Leaders
The Mass ended at 11am.
4. The Handover Ceremony
After Mass all YCSers gathered in an organized area, where the out going Leaders Presented their report, and Handed over the tools of Leadership

The out going Leaders, Incoming leaders, Father and the National Team Leaders sliced the Cake,
Then the National Team Leader (Mumbere Joel Kinongo) and The National Section leaders Coordinator (Imanishimwe Geoffrey) guided the in coming Team and requested them both the incoming Team and the out going Team to keep in touch in consultation.
And finally we had Tree planting, we planted two eatable fruit trees, and departure

From this Walk Of Faith We Understand more about the History of Uganda, we We Discover Places where The Who didn't reach Namugongo Died, But Most importantly It's a journey of Prayer,
