LGBTIQ people are at particular risk because they do not fit traditional, social, and religious norms. Consequently, they are subject to marginalization and abuse, such as corrective rape and so-called conversion therapy, to try to “cure” their nonconforming sexual orientations, gender expressions, and gender identities. They oftern lack the social inclusion and resources to stop systematic cycles of abuse.

2 years ago, October 21st 2019, 16 of us were raided, arrested and while in custody we were forced to undergo anal examinations.
These brutal acts continue to happen to LGBTIQ Ugandans everyday. We always walk with invisible scars.

Too often, "women's health" means "straight women's health," and queer ladies are left in the dust. But bisexual and lesbian sexual health shouldn't be a footnote, because all women and, in particular, all young women need to be educated about how various sexual health issues affect them.

As we grow up we are taught the values of our society. In our homophobic, heterosexist, discriminatory culture, we may learn negative ideas about homosexuality and same-sex attraction. Like everyone else, LGB people may be socialised into thinking that being non-heterosexual is somehow “mad”, “bad”, “wrong” or “immoral”. This can lead to feelings of self-disgust and self-hatred. These feelings can lead to “internalised homophobia” also known as “internalised oppression”.
Bisexuality is just as valid as any other sexuality. BISEXUAL PRIVILEGE DOESN'T EXIST. Bisexual People experience a different kind of oppression than monosexual people do. While bisexual people don't feel represented in straight environments, in the same way the often don't feel included in queer environments.
The different teams under the #JumpStartProject , defined there business models and marketing strategies as they prepare to practice their skills.
