A great conversation with our Woman MP Hon. Enid Origumisiriza on education, girl-child empowerment, poverty, and how my influence and talent can help reach and inspire our communities.

Our communities need all of us. Let’s come together, support one another, and use what we have to create real change. 🙏🏽🇺🇬

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Over the past few days, there has been a lot of discussion surrounding comments made about me and the GBOY brand.

I would like to clarify that my decision to address the matter publicly was never intended to create division, fuel hatred, or encourage anyone to attack another individual. My concern was simple: protecting a brand that I have spent years building through hard work, discipline, and the support of countless fans across Western Uganda and beyond.

When I spoke out, it was because I felt disappointed that someone I considered a friend would publicly make remarks that I believed undermined my brand. Every artist deserves constructive criticism, but respect should always remain at the center of our conversations.

I have taken note of the apology that was extended, and for my part, I choose to move forward. I hold no personal grudge against anyone. My focus remains on music, my supporters, and contributing positively to our region.

What saddens me most is seeing narratives that risk creating unnecessary divisions among our people. Mbarara, Ankole, Kabale, Kigezi, and all neighboring communities are connected by culture, history, friendship, and shared aspirations. We should be using our platforms to unite people, not to create differences between them.

I therefore encourage everyone to remain respectful, avoid personal attacks, and focus on supporting the growth of our creative industry. Let us build bridges instead of walls.

I remain grateful to everyone who has stood by me, supported my music, and believed in the GBOY brand. Your love and support never go unnoticed.

Let us move forward together.
